David Rubin is Independent Insurance Broker and personal friend who has graciously agreed to come on the show. This is a discussion about life insurance and not an advertisement for David or any particular product. Boomer’s are the first generation to be financial providers of both parents and children simultaneously. Boomers will have dependents on both ends of the life cycle, so a solid life insurance plan is a necessity.
Prior to becoming an independent insurance broker David worked for two of the largest life insurers in the country, New England Financial and Northwestern Mutual. He is now on his own and can offer an impartial view of the life insurance options in the market. His practice typically works with average middle class families, and he does not get involved in issues of the very wealthy as they have their own unique financial needs. The vast majority of his clients come from two-income households with aging parents and children in or approaching college age. That’s me! And David is my personal insurance agent, which is why he agreed to come on the show and help us out.
David lives in Carmel, NY which is about 60 miles north of Manhattan, “My wife, Ann, and I have 3 boys. My oldest is a freshman in college and I have one who is a high school sophomore and one who is in seventh grade.”
